Electrical Engineer
Municipally-owned Marshfield Utilities is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the planning, design, and operation of electric system improvements and expansions, along with a variety of engineering-related initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects from concept through completion, including coordination with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Depending on experience, the selected candidate may take on increasing responsibility in leading projects and teams, guiding workflows, and serving as a technical resource within the organization.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical or Civil Engineering degrees will also be considered). This position is open to candidates ranging from entry-level to experienced professionals, with responsibilities and scope tailored accordingly.

Summer Laborer
Municipally-owned Marshfield Utilities is recruiting for an individual to fill a Summer Laborer position. This role works closely with our electric line crew and supports the safe operation and maintenance of electric and communication utility facilities. The goal is to help ensure a reliable source of power to our customers in a safe, cost-effective manner while adhering to all utility and governmental regulations.
Applicants must have successfully completed an Electrical Power Distribution course through a technical college.
